The In-House Detailing Team are well trained and well qualified to carry out the detailing functions of their jobs.  Our detailing department develops drawings either by hand or by using the SDS detailing software.  Detail drawings sent for approval are tracked from the time they are sent for approval until they are released to the shop.  This attention to detail helps avoid costly delays to the construction schedule.

Our detailing department prepares the majority of shop drawings and field use drawings.  However, on certain projects we do employ several well qualified outside detailing services.  The detailing manager works very closely with these outside detailers to ensure they adhere to the detailing standards set forth by Indiana Steel Fabricating, Inc.  All shop drawings, whether prepared in-house or by an outside source, are completely checked by our detailing department prior to issuance to shop for fabrication.
